Trump’s Personal Transition to the Presidency

Understand that I am not making excuses for Trump.  But today I was just thinking about his transition from an owner of corporations, where he can be, and probably is expected to be, a brutal tyrant, who caters to his personal whims and expects all of his employees to be unapologetic sycophants, to the office of POTUS, where the slightest move normally encounters opposition, sometimes vehement opposition, usually at the national level.  He is completely out of his element in the White House.

This is why we need a career politician in the White House, as denigrated as they usually are.  Career politicians are used to rolling with the currents and tides of the political sea.  For the job of POTUS, the country needs a well-seasoned captain, not someone who has never seen the ocean.
